Hello. Try Reset App Preferences to be sure, either in the Task Manager / Recent Apps menu. You would have to reset your other preferences later.
Or use the Default Apps setting in the Recent Apps - Menu, or by long pressing Home for the Task manager screen in older devices.
You can also go to Applications Manager - All - Touchwiz Easy Home, press for App Info and press Clear Default if available, then go to Touchwiz Home, App Info and ensure it's set as default by seeing the Clear Default button is available to press.
(I'm going on memory and lack of knowledge of newer Samsung settings so may need correcting)
If you use a separate Launcher like Nova this has a setting to set Nova or Touchwiz as default, but it should be checked on the device as well.
The Touchwiz pop up is a known glitch that I don't think was fully eradicated, but it shouldn't normally bother you very often.
