ColorNote help!

I copied my ColorNote backup directory to a new phone and am trying to restore the backed up notes, however, ColorNote keeps asking for a password that I don't remember anymore. I've tried clearing the password in ColorNote, but it seems to want the password that was used on my other phone.

Is there a way to defeat this password? I have the back up files (.dat and .idx)

What can I do?
