Alarm widget deleted but still active, how can I disable it?

Alarm widget deleted but still active

I accidentally deleted my alarm widget with a daily recurring alarm set. Note, I cannot disable it. I tried putting the widget back on my home screen and that just allowed me to set a new alarm. The old one is still there and won't go away. I cannot find it to disable it. Help?!?

It's hard to know what phone you have... and if you are using a stock Google launcher or other launcher, but try this:

1. Put a clock widget on a screen
2. Then just touch it.
3. There should be an Alarm icon, clock, count down time and a stop watch option across the top.
4. Click on the Alarm
5. select the alarm you want to delete and click the trash can icon.
