What do you do if the screen didnt read my finger and now I forgot my back up password?

I messed up my thumb print 5 times and then locked my screen and need a password and I cant remember it. Is there anyway that I can get back on my phone? It has been locked for a day and a half.

I think your best chance is taking your phone and personal ID to your carrier and they should be able to help you out.
