Did this person block and then unblock me?

One of my contacts' profile picture, status and last seen stamp disappeared for about a month and became visible again a couple of days ago.

I would like to know for a fact that this person blocked and then unblocked me. Is there anything else they could have done that would have had that same effect (picture, status and last seen stamp all disappearing)?

I've tried to write off the possibility that they deleted or deactivated their account, but I don't know enough about how Whatsapp works to know for sure.
