I keep getting on my hangouts when I attempt to call my boyfriend.

i tried to call my boyfriend i keep getting "unfortunately hangouts has stopped working" and it only does that for him. what do i do, . i have an older android smart phone, i think it is a burst, I'm not sure

Welcome to the forums. Have you tried clearing the cache for Hangouts? Is Hangouts an app that you use?

ill try that and yea it is the app..but the weird thing is i can call everyone BUT him

The 'Hangouts Dialer' app is also required for phone calls, yes? Did you clear the cache of both Hangouts and Hangouts Dialer? Use 'Force stop' and then 'Clear cache' for both.

or delete the contact for your boyfriend, restart the phone then add the contact again
