Hi, my wife's Huwaei G300 is a nice phone but recently won't install apps.
I have moved all photos, movies, music and other date to PCs.
Removed or stopped half the existing apps which are not used much. Cleared cache and data.
Run an app cache cleaner.
Deleted text messages..
There is 1.85 gab free internal storage.
There is 12.87 gab free on the sd card
Apps storage says 625mb used and 130mb free.
I uninstalled swift key keyboard and BBC weather, but am now unable to reinstall them.
I keep trying to install WhatsApp. It downloads but does not install. All downloaded apps now say insufficient space.
What can I do now?
I can only think of backing up and resetting the phone to its initial state?
Please help.
Decent little phone. I would just like to be able to download a few more apps including WhatsApp and swift key.

Many thanks

David

Welcome to Android Central! Moved from the Android Apps forum to the General Help forum, since the former is intended for developers to promote their apps.

It sounds like it's an older phone that partitions Internal Storage into an App Storage area and an "Internal SD," as described here: http://forums.androidcentral.com/am...y-how-deal-insufficient-storage-warnings.html. There isn't much you can do about that, besides uninstalling as many apps as you can, or possibly disabling some preinstalled apps (which will also uninstall any updates they had, which in turn reduces their size).
