selling unlocked and relocking

Upon finding out from T-mobile that they allow phones to be unlocked (as long as the customer is in good standing and hasn't had another phone unlocked in the past 3 months), I had it unlocked immediately not waiting for the emailed code.

Is there more than one code?

If so, is it true that any update to the phone will re-lock it to T-Mobile?

If so, how would a newbie re-lock it

think I answered my own question. If the code is given by Tmo and it relocks it no problem. I'd the code is given by someone else, it relocks it to Tmo...no big deal. Same thing happens in other words.

I think be was just saying don't take it to another carrier.
