What airline?

I recently flew and not only did they not care, there wasn't even a mention of anything remotely related to the Note 7 debacle.

And yet when I flew a month ago there was SPECIFIC mention of the Note 7. I believe it was when I checked in, it MAY have been during a pre-board announcement or during the safety brief.

Wow! That is unfortunate, especially since one can easily differentiate a Samsung Galaxy S device from a Note device.

For someone that follows technology, sure. For someone trying to load 250 people onto an airplane in 30 minutes, it's more difficult.

For sure! But for something super serious as overheating issues, you'd think that the crew or companies would have printed-out photos with thorough descriptions of the device to avoid public panic.

I've recently witnessed this also when flying. We were told to tell the hosts if we had a S7 LOL. I'm not sure if they would send the phone back home or take the battery out and let you fly with it.
