HELP! Going from Chromecast back to TV

I have my Chromecast hooked up to my Toshiba Model 32C11OU1.

Setup was easy and I watched a movie on NetFlix from my tablet no problem. After I was done the movie I could not get back to regular TV programming. The TV said "no video signal" and the menu and input button on the TV remote would not respond. I had to unplug everything and then use the menu button on the TV to get regular TV to work again.

There must be a simple way to go back to TV watching after using the Chromecast. Anyone know how?

This sounds to me more like an issue with your TV than Chromecast, however if it repeats I'd try a factory reset on the chromecast, if that fails perhaps factory resetting the TV to factory settings.

I would agree this is something with the input your trying to switch to on the TV. Do you have another HDMI device you can switch between if the chromecast is not plugged in?
