Unable to setup Chromecast dongle

Hi,
I've been unable to setup my Chromecast dongle and seeing the following error.
Would someone please help me? :-(

I had that a couple times. I got it when trying to setup using phone. It finally worked using my laptop.

Unfortunately with my laptop, I get a different error. While my password is 128 characters long... It states password should contain at least 8 characters!

Any other ideas?

perhaps temporarily change your password to a shorter string of characters until you get the Chromecast setup and UPADTED, then try again with the longer password?

Probably want to change that password now that you've made it public. Also, the setup app does not work on some phones, it didn't on mine (Razr Maxx) and I had to use my laptop to set it up. Once set up my phone connects just fine for casting.

Actually i do change it every couple of months.. Using a random character generator!

I'll give it a shot today by using a smaller pwd and see if it helps

Okay finally... Changing the password did the trick, look like it cannot handle large password
