DRM says no.

Do you mean with the Kindle app or a Kindle device? I actually don't think either is supported (although you can use a web browser on a kindle device to read them, but the interface would be about the same).
Books have DRM around them to prevent them being passed around from one person to another...
you can download all books from playstore as pdf or epub from web.
Playstore's only DRM is movies. Even music can be downloaded when purchased.
Most people don't know that.I did not know that.

Can you read kindle books on play books though?
I bought one book and want it over on play books though it and its sequals arn't available on google. I would rather just to a one app for a thing.
Most people don't know that.
To download go to playbooks here https://forums.androidcentral.com/e.../https://play.google.com/books&token=JM8FeOuj hover over a book and a 3 dot menu will appear on top right.
There will be an option to download as pdf or epub.
So to answer OP's question yes, you can download and read via Kindle app.
maybe!! but i have one book which only allow epub download and the all other has epub and pdfActually, here from France, all I see is the option of EPUB. No .pdf option.
Maybe in the U.S. it is different ?
