Anyone using the 'Send as' Gmail feature successfully on an Android device?

I use gmail in Chrome on a desktop PC and on my Laptop, I can send messages using an alternate email address successfully with these windows machines but it does not work on my Nexus 10 or Galaxy phone. I can choose the 'Send as' alternate email address but when I look at the received message it is from the default email address. It may be a bug... if it isn't going to work why would there be a choice in the first place.

The alternate e-mail address needs to be added to your device.

The addresses were added on my Windows machine and I can choose them on both Android devices... they are there already and can be chosen as the send as choice.

Sorry, I slightly misread your question. Let me test this problem out.

UPDATE: Sorry, I can't seem to recreate your problem.

Did you check the message after it was delivered? It all appears to work fine... but doesn't, at least not for me.
