Nexus 4/ Iphone 5 owners- your thoughts on comparisons...

Like many I missed out on snagging a 4 and have have only given a passing thought to ebay, so I'm waiting with a quasi-functioning HTC one x. I bring up the iPhone 5 because I actually like the smaller/lighter form factor,display,and memory-but I'm a fan of Google (nexus one,7, 10). I guess I'm looking for someone in the middle like me who might say what their deciding factor is/thoughts are in going with one or the other.

I have an HTC One X using and am switching to the Nexus 4. My reasoning is that I want faster updates, no contract. I grow weary of the rapid battery sucks that is LTE. I'm hoping the camera is the same quality.

I had an iPhone 3, 3S, 4 for 2.5 years. They're just too small, plus I went to Gmail so android was a compelling draw.
