When I try to send an MMS I get a text from "500" that says "Your MMS message could not be delivered due to insufficient funds or MMS blocking." problem just started out of the blue. Never had any problems beforehand and didn't change anything I'm aware of.

I had the same situation on a tmo postpaid plan, you have to dive into settings to set an APN (or something). You'll find the fix from a quick search on tmo support.
