So in 5.0 now at the top right of my phone there are the usual icons for the time, battery level, signal, wifi, etc. However, there appears to be a new one that is a circle with a diagonal line through it (basically a "do not.." symbol) which you can see here:

But in the usual plain white. I can't seem to figure out what it means. When I drag down the bar there is nothing in it that tells me what this symbol implies?

Anyone know?

Tx

It's the do not disturb mode. If you press up or down on the volume rocker you can turn it off. Select "all" and it will go away. You have it set to no interruptions which is why that symbol appears.

Yes, if set to Priority Mode, you will get a solid white star in the notification bar.

I mostly keep mine in Priority Mode so I only get the most important notifications.
