Hi everyone so with google maps, I know that most people keep their location setting switched to battery saving mode however I've noticed that when I use google maps and switch it to high accuracy, it still take a google maps quite a few minutes for it to actually lock into coordinates and start to work. Has anyone else experiences this before?

I always leave mine on high accuracy and haven't noticed what you are saying. I Do not notice much of a difference in battery life either. High accuracy uses all the tools available to you WiFi, cell signal and GPS for the best pin point location. I rather sacrifice some battery for the better experience.

When I was rooted yes. On stock setup never

Your AGPS data might be out of date. Try GPS Toolbox from the play store. I use it when i have any issues with GPS on my devices. First time you launch it , it will automatically fetch new AGPS data for you. That will always help speed up finding satellites.

Thank you lol that's what I'll try that. I'm also trying to leave it on the high accuracy to notice if I do have more of a battery drain then when I have them battery saving mode. Basically, back to normal again. If I know there's a battery drain and I'll definitely do that though. Thanks again.
