Nexus 6 still on July security update?

I'm still on the July security update. I'm curious to why I haven't received the OTA. I did do the Android 7.0 beta.

I believe most of us on beta are stuck in the matrix. July patch, also.

There's nothing to do but wait.

It seems to be Google's most obvious screwup in the beta experience for the Nexus 6. Not releasing so much as one security update in 2 months to phones that had been receiving regular monthly OS + security updates not only violates Google's own stated commitments re. timely monthly security updates for its own phones. Especially for a phone nearing its "end of life" for OS updates, it also adds to the frustration and uncertainty re. what the end of this year's beta program will mean for N6 owners.
