Nexus 7 wont boot past "no command". Cant get into bootloader using power + vol

HI There, i'm praying someone can help. I am unable to get into bootloader recovery mode (using the normal power and volume - it just goes from google screen to 'dead android' and "no command") and certainly unable to get in to the tablet to turn on usb debugging - as it just sticks at "no command". Is there any way at all to flash my tablet from a windows laptop to get this back up and running? I was running 5.1.1 (Build LMY47V Model ME370T Android 5.1.1).

Welcome to the forums. Try pressing and holding power and clicking volume up or down (can't remember offhand which) once. That should get you into recovery the rest of the way.

thanks for the reply. maybe i wasn't clear. I cant get into bootloader recovery using that normal method. It just goes from google screen to dead android and "no command".

That is strange. You are pressing power and volume up correct?

Yes - but on the nexus it is power and vol down. I believe the bootloader is corrupted. I have tried over a hundred times. It boots to the google logo screen, and immediately goes to 'dead android' and "no command". So is there any way to flash the device without being in the recovery mode? Either to flash the bootloader or the android os?

I think you might need to look at a JTAG device, since the bootloader seems to be inoperable.
