Can I use the SIM from my AT&T smartphone in my Nexus tablet?

I'm thinking of changing my AT&T smartphone to a simple flip phone to save money yet using my unlimited data plan (grandfathered in) for my Nexus 7 (once they come out with the 4G LTE version). Is this possible? I suppose I would need two SIM cards for the same account (one for the phone, one for the Nexus).

Assuming that it takes the standard micro SIM card (which has not yet been confirmed), yes. Now, trying to get 2 SIM cards for the same account without paying for an additional device is problematic.
