Why am I getting a error message?

Software file corrupted.

While attempting software update error occured. Now stuck on Page X when booting up. Tried the recovery as shown on You Tube - still stuck. Have obtained Nexus Root Toolkit and also Unified Android Toolkit.
Tablet now requests drivers. Obtained new driver and tried to install. Now have message:
"Windows found driver software for your device but encountered error while attempting to install it.
Google Galaxy Nexus ADB Interface
The hash for the file is not present in the specified catalogue file. The file is likely corrupt or victim of tampering."

How can I resolve this ?
