Pixel 2 XL. And all the sudden the fingerprint Center stopped working today. I deleted the old fingerprints and restarted the phone, and now it won't recognize any fingerprints to add it all. It just stopped working. Please help

That happened to someone else here and the only resolution was to call Google and RMA it as far as I remember

I am the person mentioned that experienced a fingerprint sensor failure.
I contacted Google and I was sent via FEDEX 2nd day air a replacement that has so far been flawless.

Had similar. Sensor was working flawlessly, then last wednesday it didn't. Rebooted, nothing. Saw error message along the lines of fingerprint hardware unavailable. Went to settings, and nothing to do with fingerprint was there. Only option was to RMA it, which went pretty smoothly, arrived next day.
