Black/Unresponsive Screen Pixel 2, How to backup my data?

[Android Central Question]

My Pixel 2 suffered a fall off of a counter, and the screen is now just black. I can still feel vibration when I put my finger on the sensor, but the screen itself doesnt seem to respond. Verizon is sending out a warranty phone, but I will need to access the files to move to my new phone.

Sadly, I do not think I enabled USB debugging, so when I plug my phone in USB, it doesn't find a device. How am I able to retrieve the files off of the device, I did not have it backing itself up to google either. In the future I will definitely do so.
