no red light spot

hey,
when i am charging the phone there is no red light spot.
the phone (pixel 4a) is new and no damaged.
what shoud i do?

Welcome to the forum... No light it's normal. If you tap the display it will show its charging

I've been on Google devices since the Nexus 6p, so I haven't seen an LED charging indicator in any of those devices. I was on Moto phones before that, and I can't recall if they had one either (earliest was the Moto Droid Maxx).

Blkdodger2 is right though, a tap on the screen will show wake the display and show if it's charging. And I believe on most phones that if they're powered down while charging, pressing the power button briefly will also show it's charging.

Welcome to AC!

You would have to go back to the pixel 2 xl for led charging and notification light, the pixel haven't had that after it.
