Is anyone else experiencing a much faster rate for the battery draining after the January update?
For me it seems about the same more or less at least after 1.5 days of usage so far.Is anyone else experiencing a much faster rate for the battery draining after the January update?

I'm not experiencing that I actually feel like it has gotten slightly better. Then again can be just my head playing tricks on me. I feel like it's a similar experience. We might just need to wait a few days to know for sure..I was just thinking the same thing. Mine seems to be draining a little faster on the January update. Not to much, but it seems noticable. Maybe it's in my head?
I would definitely wait for a few charge cycles. Remember that right after the update, the phone will be optimizing all of the apps, which likely eats up some battery.
I felt December update drained faster, still seeing if that's same on January
Ahh mine was small like 40mbI never had December's update. I came straight from November. My update was 215mb
I updated a few days ago (when it was first released) and just notice today that it seemed like the battery was draining a little faster. Could it need a little time to "learn"? Similar to when the phone is new and it progressively gets better battery life after a few days/charge cycles?
Yeah adaptive battery relearning usage patternsI always hear about batteries taking a few days to "settle in," but I'm not sure what the technical explanation for that is. It might also have to do with the Adaptive Battery feature relearning patterns?
Yes exactly but even today's cars have to relearn idle strategies, emissions monitor etc..Okay. I guess that makes sense. Just like a car from 20 years ago. After disconnecting the battery they'd run crappy until it relearned. I'll see how it goes over the next several days. Thanks!

Yeah with in 10 miles they learn pretty quick plus they have much much faster PCMYup. You're right. You don't seem to (at least I don't) notice a big effect on today's cars though when reset. I know the late 90's early 2000's jeeps we're horrible after reset! Lol

Edit: don't want throw off topic
But today's cars have Buss ,Cann communications network between modules on the vehicle that are fast
Fastest way would be a factory reset plus clean out old catch but understand some don't want take that route. You clearly know a lot more than me about vehicle electronic control systems. To stay on topic: hopefully the Pixel 6 Pro learns battery conservation quickly! Lol thanks again!
