Pixel in reboot loop after June update

Since installing the June security patch a few days ago my phone would randomly reboot. Now it gets stuck in a loop and won't go past bouncing ball animation. Can only boot in safe mode. I tried a factory reset to no avail. Help?

Edit: it also reboots in safe mode...could it be overheating?

Might try downloading a factory image and seeing if you can perform a clean install. If that doesn't fix it then it is most likely a hardware issue.

Nexus Root Toolkit v2.1.9 is your friend. Install it on a PC, connect your Pixel via USB and then run NRT with the Bootloop/Bricked option.
