First impressions of my new Nexus

Hi all,

Just recently had a hardware upgrade from my 3 year old Blackberry 9700 to a Nexus. I've only been using the Nexus for a few days now, but here are a few things that i've noticed (especially in comparison to my old 9700):

battery life seems terrible under "new/normal" usage..not sure if I'll get anywhere close to a full days outing before needing a recharge

recharges quickly though (especially compared to my Galaxy 10.1)

I need a holster/holder (preferably a swivel-style) like my Blackberry model...Any suggestions? OEM Samsung accessories seems to be lacking...

The nexus seems flimsy and light compared to the 9700..I'm sure it will explode if dropped..I'm assuming a protective case is now a necessary addition?

Stock earphones are absolute garbage! Went for a run today using the Nexus and Endomundo and the earphones stay in my ear for about 2 seconds....can you say roadkill!!! Will continue to use my Blackberry earphones for sure...

Otherwise, the phone is very pretty to look at, seems to operate very quickly and is fairly intuitive..
