My Z1 compact battery gets to 60 then just dies, why is it doing this?

My Z1 compact battery gets to 60% then just dies

My sony is a year old in a few weeks and recently when the battery life gets to 60% it suddenly drains to 0 and turns off. Also when charging whist off it has a lower % then when turned on

Welcome to Android Central! The battery sounds like it's failing. Unfortunately, it's not intended to be user-removable, so you'd either have to bring it to a repair shop to replace the battery, or look up a DIY video on YouTube if you want to try your hand at it yourself.
