Why are my Galaxy Buds charging port rusted/discolored

On the Galaxy Bud on both sides on the topmost charging port there is a noticable rust/darker discoloration. This is on both buds on the same port so is this a natural charging thing that happens or is there a problem?

I moved this from the Wear OS forum (not sure why it was there) to the Headsets forum for more specific traffic.

Possibly it didnt get anti-rust coating on it. Id see if Samsung can get it swapped out for a replacement.
