Is there any way for me to change the sim card reader on my HTC Desire 610
It has one of those self ejecting sim card slots which for seemingly no reason decided to stop working a month ago. At the time I opened it up and identified the problem but as the part is attached to the main board concluded that I was defeated, whacked some tape over the card to keep it in place and put it all back together with mixed results. It now holds it some of the time.
I was living with the problem but then yesterday I dropped the phone and cracked the screen. Im now looking at doing the repair and have found the replacement parts online (a digitiser assembly and this sim reader) but haven't a clue on how to go about the sim repair. Any help would be great thanks.
