Rooted to Cyanogen Mod, Contacts gone?

Hello everyone, first post here! Figured out how to root my evo and get everything that I could ever want, but now I realized that I have a problem. I went to check my contacts after rooting, and they're gone. No problem, I figured it'd be as easy as going into my settings, accounts and sync, and syncing with Google. The only problem is when I go there, the only option I have is to sync with an exchange account, and when I type in my Google information, it doesn't work. Is there a way that I'm not noticing to sync back up with Google?

I fixed the problem. I just realized that Cyanogen doesn't include the Google Apps, so I had to install those, and problemo solved.
