Swype weird characters when using in other language

Ok, I downloaded swype (from the official site, after they re opened the beta), and I loved it, but there is a weird problem.

You can set up swype in english, spanish or french. When is in english everything is ok, now sometimes I send some SMS in spanish, so I switched the keyboard to spanish, and although it seems ok, the person who receives the messages usually gets garbage (some go ok, and some other ones, they receive something like %^&(%(#$), BUT on my phone it looks ok...

Did any of you tried swype in another language?

Please, can someone at least try it to see if it is a bug our just something related just to my phone. You have to send an SMS and it will show ok on your phone but it will be garbage on the
