No SD card found after GB update.

My girlfriend just downloaded the GB update. Now she can not see any of her pictures and when she goes to her gallery, it says no SD card found. We have restarted the phone as well as pulled the sd card out and reinserted it. Any suggestions on how to fix this?

If you have some basic knowledge of ADB you can try this [ How-To ] Fix SD card not being detected & USB port not working - xda-developers

If that doesn't work, I would try backing up your SD card and reformat

Man I hate to say it but this just happened to my 16gb sd card and no matter what I did it would not recognize it. Did the adb thing, put it in a memory card reader and all it would let me do is format it. Lost all my pictures and videos on the card. Even once I formatted the card it recognized it for about 10 minutes then it kept saying please insert a sd card. I'm back to using my stock 2gb sd card now...

I tried my 32 gb from my thunderbolt and it didn't work either.
