Hello everyone.

I have a quick question about what would result in better battery life. Would having my email polled every 15 minutes, or setting up gmail push be better for the battery.

I have read many posts about the topic, but I couldn't find anything that gave an answer to my question.

Thanks for the help,

Shooter

generally, the longer you can go without needing to be notified about e-mail, the better. Push is different as it purposely wakes your phone up to send you mail. If you have to know instantaneously, push is the way to go. If you get a lot of e-mail, but it isn't urgent that you need to have them as they arrive, then 15 minutes would benefit your battery life better.
