When will the UK 4.4 update be pushed out?

As per question anyone have any knowledge and likeliness of when this will be released on software updates?

in november htc said the htc one in the uk would also be receiving the update in late january.


since there hasn't been any official word yet that i know of it might be delayed somewhat.

I am in the UK using an unlocked HTC One and I am downloading 4.4.2 while I write this note.

My next part of the question is what carrier in the UK is everyone on that has received the system update.

Maybe the only difference is that a while ago I set my CID to 11111111 but not being an expert I am unsure if that makes a difference

Is that changing the model id? How do u do that? U get updates quicker?

You can change the CID by using the fastboot command. You need to reboot your phone into boot loader mode and select fast boot from that menu. Connect your phone via USB and then run the command is "fastboot oem writecid 11111111"

You need to be comfortable doing this though, if in doubt don't try it as I am not sure if this will give you early access to 4.4.2
