I have recently carrier unlocked my HTC One m7 (with a code provided by my carrier itself) and my problem is that I want to get rid of the carriers bloatware and also receive the updates from HTC directly. Is there a way to do that?
I have read some articles around to turn it into the Google Edition, but I do like the Sense UI, thanks in advance!

I would also like to know if the same is possible only for the HTC One m8 (T Mobile branded).

If all you are wanting to do is remove the bloatware, you don't even need to be unlocked to do so. Simply root the device and remove the applications with a management program. Just search for Rooting the HTC One and you will find out more about it.
