Difference between HTC One M8 and HTC One M8 Dual Sim

Hey guys!

I want to purchase the HTC One M8, but I'm little confused between these two variants. My service provider/carrier offered me HTC One M8 dual sim, but some people told me that dual sim version is not supported by devs. Is that true? And is there any other difference between those 2 versions, in specs etc... ? I don't really need dual sim, but they don't have classic M8 currently out of stock, so they offered me dual sim one.

I have the dual sim model. I think there's not any difference except the software updates. My Lollipop update arrived much later than the single SIM one.

a quick Google search shows there isn't really any difference between the device, except from the fact the dual has two sim card slots.

Well, it obviously has 2 SIM card slots, and comes with software tweaks to take advantage of it, especially in the phone app.

Other than that, and longer update times and generally less custom ROM support if you're into that, it's basically an HTC One M8 with an extra SIM card slot.
