I have the Verizon HTC M8, on connecting to HTC Sync Manager, I got a popup saying an update is available (Marshmallow).
I selected to download the update, but halfway through the connection failed, and the update did not download (third world problems). When I connected my phone, a popup saying "Phone repair available" came up and I clicked. It downloaded something in 5 minutes (definitely not the Android 6 update) and rebooted a couple of times. Now my phone comes on with Android 6 Marshmallow, with icons missing, and glitches in blinkfeed etc.
Can I fix this by downloading a RUU and flashing over again? Im S-On and Locked.
