Videos I record show up with audio only on computer but work on phone

I recorded videos on my HTC one and they show up fine when I view them on my phone--audio and video all work. When I plugged in the phone to my computer and open the phone (as "removable disk I")they only play the audio in a black box. I copied and pasted the file onto the desktop and still no visual. Other videos I've recorded work fine. These are all quite large--over 25 megs, could that have something to do with it?

You're missing the video codec on your computer that those files need. Try VLC media player - Open Source Multimedia Framework and Player.
