"Disconnected because the radio was turned off" bug found.

I traveled to northern MI this weekend and found a pretty annoying bug.

Near our cottage we only have EDGE connection for AT&T. It seems that my phone, when it was on EDGE, somehow turned the radio off. I tried rebooting the phone several times, but I couldn't get a data connection. Finally, I unchecked the option for fastboot and rebooted the phone. It seemed to have fixed the problem, but it's very annoying.

Has anyone else had this issue?

I had a similar type of problem ( losing the data connection ) that occurred intermittently on boot up. Unchecking Fast Boot eliminated the problem. Don't know why they put that option on the phone. Who cares if it takes a few seconds longer to boot ?
