I own a Honor 8, absolutely love it, Emui has become my favorite version of Android. I've always been a fan of bigger phones, so of course I want the Mate 9. After thinking about it for a long while, I've come to the conclusion that the Mate 9 is just a bigger Honor 8, I can't see spending the money to just get a bigger phone of what I already have. So, I've decided that the Mate 9 pro is the way to go, I get a true upgrade in everything that way, screen size, 2k vs 1080p, CPU with the 960 vs the 950, RAM, 6 gigs vs 4. Much better deal if you already own a Honor 8 and if you don't, get one, it's the best of the Mate 8 and the P9 put together in a sexy little package.

Switched from honor 8 to mate 9 pro for the exact same reason. Have had it for 3 days now and i love it more than anything I've previously had.

Get one. You wont be disappointed. :)

I wish the Mate 9 Pro was available in the US. I'd rather have that one than the Mate 9 regular.

Different strokes for different folks :)

The pro is nice but I don't like the curves and the only real advantage I see is the AMOLED display compared to ips. I prefer 1080 and the bigger screen.

Emui does a great job with memory management and never find my phone coming close to running out of RAM actually didn't even get to 3/4 used.

I just got mine last week . Love it!!! it replaces my 6P

I got the Mate 9 but I am thinking about returning so can get the Mate 9 Pro. Is anyone using the Pro on T-Mobile? Does it support band12? The main reason I want it is for Daydream support.

I just ordered the Huawei Mate 9 PRO LON-L29*on eBay for good price(773.83 if anyone is looking). I have the Mate 9 and I really like it but it will not get Daydream View support. I will miss the 5.9 inch screen but I am looking forward to going back to a 2K AMOLED display.
