Mate 9 touch screen not functioning correctly

[Android Central Question]

Mate 9 MHA-L29C636B181 - In one hand operation - left hand only - it works fine, in full screen landscape in works well with most apps, it appears to be a software issue - when the 'layout bounds' are turned o in developer options the phone woks perfectly - except of course there are lines around all touch points!
any suggestions!!!?

Now that is strange. Have you tried a refresh back to stock.?
