Using Huawei P20 Pro with Fotopro bluetooth tripod

[Android Central Question]

So I recently bought a Fotopro Bluetooth Tripod to use with my phone, but rather than taking pictures when I press the button on the remote, it instead opens the Visual Shopping part of the camera. Does anyone know how I can turn this off or stop it from doing it. I'm getting really frustrated that I can't use my tripod properly
