GSM on CM7 Dinc2?

I have successfully used my Incredible 2 (stock version) overseas where GSM was the carrier's technology. And when I say successfully I mean this from a being able to make my calls/get data perspective. We won't talk here about the incredible mark-up that VerizonWireless puts on Roaming!

After my last international trip I rooted my phone and installed CM7. One of the things I discovered is that nowhere in the settings can I find my SIM card number anymore. On the stock version it was under Settings, About Phone. So that makes me wonder if CM7 supports GSM at all!

Does anyone have experience with CM7 on the Dinc2 in a GSM-only country ?

I don't think cm7 has a global function as of yet for inc2.

CM7 does have global options. I am not sure about where you see the SIM card number. People have used it overseas but you have to switch modes and power cycle the phone. At first I think you had to enter the APN for the network you were on to get it to work as well. It does not seem seamless.

I suggest you go over to XDA and read about it there. I went back to Sense for seamless global support, but I miss CM7.
