Help with factory reset bootloop

Factory reset goes into a boot loop on my jellybean 4.2 tablet. I downloaded the correct OS to a PC and unzipped it on to an SD Card. After inserting card into tablet and using the update from sd card just shows all the files. It never starts to load the OS. What am I missing?

Welcome to Android Central! Also be aware that a Jellybean device is already incompatible with many major apps, and that incompatibility will grow.
