Why do I not have any alarm sounds in the folder?

I've had my samsung s7 for a year and a half. Almost exactly 18 months and the alarm clock (the stock one that comes with the phone on the clock widget) worked every time until this latest update. My entire alarm sounds folder has been cleared and so there is NO SOUND being played when I set my alarm. This isn't getting in the way of anything now but I'm about to take on a job as a carer for a severely disabled child which means I need to be at work on time. Anyone know how this happened or how I can reinstall the stock alarm sounds? I only want the stock ones that come with the phone

Welcome to Android Central! Are you saying that when you open the Clock app and create a new alarm, nothing shows up when you try to select a ringtone?
