'Concert Mode' or way to reduce distortion

On some old droids when recording video there was a 'concert mode' to reduce distortion from bass when at a concert. I have a Lumia Icon and the audio from recording concerts has no distortion which is awesome. Do you think that the g3 will have anything similar to help reduce distortion. Always a bummer recording video at a concert and having the audio ruining the video.
