AT&T G3 qi charging

I'm looking for anyone who has found a way to make it work for the AT&T version.

Is it as easy as getting a different back plate?

Is there a DIY to make it work?

I've heard nothing. Kids in the AT&T store know nothing- as usual.
I do not think AT&T plans on supporting this feature.
Don't you love these guys? Limit all your options as much as possible. Great business model.

I wouldn't even call it Qi charging since AT&T versions are PMA. Only way for this to work is if Powermat or Energizer releases compatible covers.

Why even bother. If you have to put a cover on might as well plug it in. Same thing.

Powermat is useless to me. I want the phone sitting upright so I can see messages and notifications. The Qi cradle would have been perfect. I bought a EEEKit charging dock on eBay for around $15...keeps the phone at the correct angle while charging and has a USB connector also.
