lg g3 vs nexus 5 camera- astonishing results

So I used a test to compare the two cameras, and it seemed the n5 came out...the images had more detail (especially while zooming in) and looked more vibrant as well, while it seemed that the g3 oversharpened and washed out the images, making the images look worse with less detail. All were the stock cameras, both hdr on and off.
This is very weird....

I have both phones, and although the Nexus 5 certainly has a very impressive camera, I don't know that I'd say that it beats that of the G3 in respect of detail. Would you care to post a couple of sample photos to show the effect that you're seeing? Perhaps your two phones are not typical specimens (or perhaps mine aren't).

Being a Nexus 5 fan, I'm not surprised. I've always been able to take great photos with it. I wonder if part of it might be the difference between Google Camera and LG's stock Camera app.

Guys does this look like a normal hdr photo on the g3? Just to make sure my camera is not a defect.

I've noticed on the g3 pictures that contain grass and leaves look rather cold and oversharpened.
