Storage data is not decreasing?

I have moved my images,videos,ringtones,music (not many) and some apps that are allowed, to the SD card. The image shows that the music, pictures, videos, and some of the apps (it should be lower than 1.99gb) is still there. Am I doing something wrong? Even the SD card information still shows the total space of nothing being added..






Sorry if you have seen me on here asking lots of questions over the past few weeks. Just wish there was an android live chat, as there is always a problem here or a question there that I want to ask about but dont want to create so many threads after I have looked online.

Tap on your pictures and you should see a little SD card image in the upper right hand corner. Mine is the same way.

Also go into your File Manager; all files; SD card and check to see what's there; You can also do that for your phones Internal storage.

Ye it shows my images etc is on my sd card but within the8gb total space, it shows that 874mb is pictures and videos. This is absolutely ridiculous, I purchased a 64gb microsd card to add music on...yet I have literally no more space on my 8gb..

I 'moved' the images, videos etc. Also I do not know what I did but i think i went into file manager, internal device and I found loads of videos (tried to play but it saud it could not be opened, maybe on pc but I am out atm so cannot check what they are), i then moved them to my sd card and it took a while to transfer, so it must have been something big and i now have more space as seen in these imGes if it opens

Absolutely no need to apologise... for each thread that you start, with a specific problem, it helps other people that may be having similar problems.

Two things:

- Are you using an LG g4? It comes with 32 GB internal... not 8 GB.

- Between your first and second sets of screenshots the space seems to have changed for the better... did you do something different?

Yes I am at home and have checked, that I had infact moved around 33 videos of mine, from internal storage to my sd card. That is what was the big change between the 1st screenshots and the second screenshots were.
